Description of the Project

This crude petroleum pumping station, located in southern Algeria, has a capacity of 2,200 m³/hour and consists of two 10-megawatt turbopumps and two turbogenerators for electrical power production. The generators are fuelled by gas that is piped in (the pipeline is 120 km long and the pipe is 16 inches in diameter). The facility is used to transport petroleum to northern Algeria.
