VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Entrepose Contracting to start construction of a regazification terminal in the Netherlands

VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Entrepose Contracting, a subsidiary of VINCI, in association with Techint (Italy) and Sener (Spain), have just received the Work Order for the start of construction of the regazification terminal in the port of Rotterdam in the Netherlands on behalf of Gate Terminal BV.

The contract, concluded on 19 July 2007, involves a total investment of €800 million and includes the construction of a plant, a LNG jetty and three tanks. Terminal delivery is scheduled for September 2011.

Under this contract, VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Entrepose Contracting will build the three liquefied natural gas storage tanks of 180,000 m3 each.

VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Entrepose Contracting have recognized and complementary expertise in the construction of liquefied natural gas storage tanks, and have already completed, together or separately, more than 30 reservoirs in 9 countries over the past 20 years. This commercial success illustrates the potential for synergies between VINCI Construction Grands Projets and Entrepose Contracting, in which VINCI holds 77.24% of the capital.
