Description of the Project

Teams from VINCI Construction Grands Projets, Entrepose Contracting, Freyssinet, and Soletanche Bachy worked for 3 years to develop the Gate Terminal, located in the port of Rotterdam. The terminal was inaugurated on September 23, 2011 with Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands in attendance.

Work done and added value of our solution

It includes 3 LNG storage tanks with a capacity of 180,000 m³. The facility can contribute 12 billion m³ of natural gas to the gas-distribution network. A plant and 2 methane-carrier unloading docks were also built at this site.
